HOLY MOTHER EARTH DAY

Yesterday was busy for me as I attended ceremonies honouring the Planet on this, the auspicious occasion of Earth Day in the United States.

In light of the contemplative nature of the events, I thought of a Prayer which I will take the opportunity to share:

The Great Invocation

From the point of Light within the Mind of our Mother
Let light stream forth into the minds of humanity.
Let Light descend on Earth.

From the point of Love within the Heart of our Mother
Let love stream forth into the hearts of humanity.
May Christ - consciousness return to Earth.

From the centre where the Will of our Mother is known
Let purpose guide the little wills of mankind
The purpose which the Masters know and serve.

From the centre which we call the race of mankind
Let the Plan of Love and Light work out
And may it seal the door where evil dwells.

Let Light and Love and Power restore the Plan on Earth.
It pleases me that the Planet is taken so seriously in our modern era... yet there is much to be done to complete what we have begun, and we may never be completely able to complete our work.
We as human beings have a responsibility to protect and serve the whole of life in all of its forms no matter how that life may impact us. I believe that only then, will the Natural order of the Planet begin to become restored.
We must demand more from those who have given us less... we must hold fast to the convictions of today so that time will have a chance to change the direction of tomorrow.
We have much to be thankful for, that is indeed certain, but we still have much to do. Our work will continue. Our worship of the Holy Mother Earth will waken the minds of the Enlightened, and the advocates for the environment will continue to advance the cause of education on behalf of our Mission.
Have a Happy Earth Day!

Dear Andrew

While doing a Google search today on "The Great Invocation" I noticed a recent blogpost of yours.

I write today to let you know of three (free) e-books I have written about this wonderful mantram.

They are part of the "Compass of Light" series which examines the truly unique linguistic features of the Invocation.

The books are available in PDF format at no charge at the follow site:

I hope you find them informative and welcome any feedback you may have concerning them.
